COMPANY HISTORY:
Fässler AG, a Swiss company noted for high quality and innovative machine tools and tooling,
started as a manufacturer of diamond dressing devices used by manufacturers of precision gearing. With
the invention of the Fässler gear honing process in 1975, Fässler AG quickly evolved into an international
supplier of state-of-the-art machine tools and diamond coated tooling. Fässler AG continues its product
and marketing development while maintaining a company philosophy of providing high quality, cost effective
products and services to its customers in a timely manner.
PRODUCT LINES:
Gear Honing Machines
The HMX-400 Gear Honing Machines are exclusively intended for hard finishing
of spur and helical gears, shaft type pinions, sun gears, cluster gears and
internal gears.
The 9-axes machine with the Siemens SINUMERIK 840D Control distinguishes
especially by the compact design, the outstanding productivity, efficiency
and versatility, allowing conventional double flank honing, synchronous single
or double flank honing, internal and combi honing. Longitudinal crowning and
tapering (conical honing) of the tooth flanks as well are possible.
Hard Broaching Machines
The HS-100-A Hard Broaching Machine is designed exclusively for finishing by
broaching of internal (spline) profiles in hardened or non-hardened disc-type
workpieces. The broaching process especially serves to remove heat treatment
distortions of internal profiles. Automation is available for this process.
Grinding Worm Dressing Devices
DSA Grinding Worm Dressing Device for economical and precise profiling of a single-start and double-start grinding
worms on gear grinding machines. (e.g. Reishauer, Csepel, Okamoto, and Gleason-TAG)
Tooling
Diamond gears for profiling honing stones or grinding wheels; diamond wheels,
type DSA and SPA, for profiling gear grinding worms; diamond broaches for hard
finishing internal splines and bores; and honing stones for gear honing machines.
