Eurotrans Production Gear Training
(March 8-12, 2010) Namur, Belgium. Eurotrans has developed an extensive modular gear training course covering all aspects from geometry and design over production to quality control and failure analysis. The course is designed over a four week training program. Each week has a different focus: geometry and design, production, quality and failure and advanced design. The training addresses a European audience, and each week is held at a different location, each of which in proximity or closely connected to a famous gear lab. The training package rate includes evening dinners and social activities that include a walk through the old city center of Namur, a visit to the foie gras farm of Upignac and a bowling event. Topics of the Production week include gear hobbing, shaping, honing, finishing, other production technologies and surface treatment.
