Engineered Tools Opens Gear Cutting Systems Division
Cutter body repair will take place at ETC’s existing facility until they move into a new plant near Detroit later this year.
Ross Deneau, former vice president of A/W Systems is manufacturing manager. Rich Perkins is customer service manager. John Ketterer is director of operations and Ned Hoermann is sales manager.
ETC is a specialty manufacturer of precision cutting tools and wear parts in carbide,ceramic and HSS. According to ETC’s press release, it had been manufacturing stick blades for A/W Systems and Sun Cutter from 2000-2005.
ETC has equipment and capacity for 10,000 blades per month.
