United Gear Installs New Inspection Equipment
According to the company’s press release, this equipment provides the latest technology in dimensional checking for pitch, helix angle and profiles with 3-and 4-axis pitch capabilities. It allows discrete point checking for various gear types and a wide range of quality control processes for profiles, leads and involutes of gears.
The company hopes this will help in its project to attain TS 16949 Certification.
