Plans are now gearing up for an auction of surplus assets from Abundant Manufacturing, Inc. and RP Machine Enterprises, Inc. This top quality selection of gear equipment will be hitting the auction block on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. For over a decade, AMI has been supplying gearing solutions for the automotive, mining, agricultural and forestry industries. News of this liquidation was just announced by Maynards, industry leader in global asset auctions, liquidations and asset valuation appraisal services since 1902, who, in conjunction with Biditup Auctions, is conducting the webcast only auction.
The auction inventory features an array of gear hobbers, gear shapers, thread grinders, chamfers, cutter sharpeners, surface grinders, gear shavers, hones, tooling, cutters and other related equipment and machine spare parts from well-known brands such as: Gleason Maag, GE, Barber Colman, Mitsubishi, Fellows, Mikron, Samputensili, Reishauer, Lees Bradner and Hurth.
The webcast only auction begins at 10:00 AM (EDT) on Wednesday, April 27, 2016. Inspection will be open to the public at 860 Connor Street and 820 Cochran Street - within a block of each other - in Statesville, North Carolina on Tuesday, April 26 from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM (EDT) or by appointment.
"When a webcast auction with assets of this quality from a company such as AMI arises, it presents a wonderful opportunity to our customers regionally as well as buyers across the country," noted Taso Sofikitis, president of Maynards. "This sale is a very big event as it presents a rare chance for anyone in the gear manufacturing industry to significantly and economically enhance, upgrade or update their own facilities," he added.
The sale is open to manufacturers, dealers and the public.
