Kurt Workholding Launches Expanded Website

March 28, 2012
Kurt Workholding has announced the launch of its newly enhanced and expanded website. The site makes it easier to download 2-D drawings and 3-D models of its precision vises, multiple station towers, and other workholding products. Now customers can download a Kurt file directly from a product page. Simply by clicking the download tab, the product will appear in a 3-D PDF viewer format and can be rotated 360 degrees on all three axes (x, y, z) and evaluated for different workholding applications. The file can then be downloaded in any one of 20 different formats. These include most of the popular formats such as Autodesk, AutoCAD, Solidworks and ACIS. Extremely user friendly to navigate, Kurt's enhanced site provides users with fast location of specific products. Included are easy to understand product descriptions, photos, drawings, specifications - and now 3-D viewing and downloads - everything needed to complete a product selection and evaluate its application. Kurt's enhanced website also has links to new Kurt product videos as well as links to YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Google+. "As the world leader in workholding for precision machining applications, Kurt's website is extremely important to today's manufacturing industries," reports Steve Kane, Kurt's global sales and marketing manager. "We continue to develop exciting workholding advancements along with the best ways to bring that information through the Kurt website to our many customers."
