3DCompare, a leading on-demand manufacturing platform, is announcing the result of a successful investment seed round of funding from an undisclosed source. Using the additional funding, 3DCompare will develop its broad range of services, including its compare tool algorithm for finding suitable manufacturers, allowing it to advance to a new phase of the company’s continuous growth.

“These are exciting times over here at 3DCompare. The potential of what we are doing is vast and this is now being picked up on,” said Alex Ziff, CEO at 3DCompare. “We will now be able to improve the services we offer to people looking to manufacture virtually anything on-demand. 3DCompare is an online platform to compare prices for manufacturing parts on demand using 3D printing, CNC machining, injection molding, laser cutting and more. Users upload their CAD file, and based on shape, material and location, the company will compare prices from 3DCompare’s global network of manufacturers, matching the right partner for its customers using its algorithms.

Since its initial launch, 3DCompare has continued to expand its operations and software, developing into a worldwide network for connecting partners and consumers, thus facilitating 3D printing for a myriad of business uses. The new funding that the company has received acts as a testament to the potential of 3DCompare, made in recognition of its on-demand manufacturing services that are transparent, comprehensive and reliable. With the investment, the company will continue to develop its services based on feedback from its partners and users, building upon the capabilities of its on-demand manufacturing platform and improving the overall experience.

Our platform can help grow your business, exposing a vendor to customers without spending huge amounts on marketing. Furthermore, partners can gain access to our 3D Printing Business service - tools to help improve the overall customer experience of business,” added Ziff.

As well as comparing prices between manufacturers and connecting vendors to customers in the on-demand manufacturing economy, 3DCompare also offers a host of tools to help develop the services of its partners.
