Ceratizit Adds Technical Sales Engineer to Support Aerospace Assembly Tooling
Ceratizit USA announces the addition of Eric Rose as technical sales engineer for the U.S. Aerospace Assembly Tooling division. Rose will support Ceratizit’s sales teams and end users with specialized tooling applications used in the manufacture and assembly of aircraft, helicopters, rockets and satellite components.
Rose brings 18 years of professional manufacturing experience, with 12 of those years dedicated specifically to cutting tools. His background includes hands-on machining with manual equipment, territory sales, technical application support and national key account management.
“The aerospace industry demands exceptional precision, process control and technical expertise at every stage of manufacturing,” said Troy Wilt, managing director of Ceratizit USA, Cutting Tools Division. “Eric’s combination of technical application knowledge and broad manufacturing operations experience elevates operators, engineers, and production teams and their capabilities.”
Rose will support aerospace assembly tooling applications from initial assessment and design through final delivery and trials.
“I’ve spent most of my career learning how different pieces of manufacturing fit together, so this role gives me a chance to bring that experience into a very specialized area,” said Rose. “I am also a lifelong learner, and the aerospace industry is always evolving. I get to apply what I know while also helping our customers work through their applications with emerging technologies and tools.”
Rose has completed training in tool design and applications, grades and coatings, component processing, lean manufacturing principles, business analytics, negotiations and customer-focused sales. His previous experience also included supporting a broad range of manufacturing needs beyond cutting tools, including fixturing, toolholding, workholding, grinding, measurement and metalworking fluids.
