Bluefield Coal & Mining 2025

The Bluefield Coal & Mining Show is an iconic name in the industry and has supported the coal industry for very nearly 50 years. Some 6,000 visitors are expected to converge on Bluefield, WV. The show is a vital part of the area’s blue-collar history and connects the working personnel to the latest mining innovations in today’s industry. The show is a time for celebrating the mining industry and for providing connectivity between the buyers and sellers. Highlights include live interviews, networking opportunities, live demonstrations, and the latest mining technology and equipment.

The Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias has announced that Andy Eidson, CEO and director of Alpha Metallurgical Resources, will open the Bluefield Coal & Mining Show and provide the Keynote Address at the Media and Exhibitor Appreciation Breakfast on September 10, 2025.

“We are thrilled that Mr. Eidson is able to join us and to present his views on the future of the coal industry,” said Jeff Disibbio, president and CEO of the Chamber of Commerce of the Two Virginias, which owns and produces the show “This is certainly an exciting start to our event and we are excited to provide an unparalleled Bluefield welcome to Andy as well as to the mining folks from all 25 coal-producing states of the country, who will attend.”
