Metlab specializes in the heat treating of gears, pinions, and bearings, ranging from mini-gears to 40,000 mill pinions and drive gears. With furances ranging from 2' x 2' x 2' to 15' in diameter to 22' long, processes offered include carburizing case hardening), nitriding, nitrocarburizing, neutral hardening, stress relieving, boronizing, and black oxide. With 40 employees, and four metallurgists on staff, Metlab is uniquely qualified to provide a variety of thermal processes to a broad range of industries.
