Getrag to Sell Synchron Business Unit to Hoerbiger

The Getrag Group plans to sell Getrag Synchron Technik GmbH to Hoerbiger Drive Technology on Oct. 1. After the contractual arrangements are completed, Hoerbiger will become a strategic partner for Getrag. According to a press release issued jointly by the companies, Hoerbiger will be able to supply Getrag locally at various sites worldwide. The acquisition will accelerate Hoerbiger's international development. In May, Hoerbiger acquired Taizhou Orient Gear Co. Ltd. and integrated the company into the group under the name of Hoerbiger Orient Gear (Taizhou) Co. Ltd.
