Precipart Corp. announced the promotion of Daniel Rudolf to director of continuous improvement in mid-June.

According to the company's press release, Rudolf first assisted the first ISO registration in 1997 and continues to promote its quality management systems by representing the company on a steering committee for lean initiatives at the Long Island Forum for Technology (LIFT), an association of Long Island manufacturing companies that partner with local colleges in training programs.

Rudolf joined Precipart's Farmingdale, NY, office when he came from Switzerland 22 years ago as a screw machine operator. He was first promoted to department manager before being promoted to lead the continuous quality improvement efforts.
