Hexagon Expands Footprint in Western Canada

Hexagon’s Manufacturing Intelligence division has announced it has expanded its footprint into western Canada with a new office in Calgary, Alberta. The new location and staff will serve the region's diverse range of manufacturing industries including aerospace, oil & gas, advanced composites, MRO, agriculture, bus and rail, machinery, wood products and more. The facility will accommodate business offices and a training room, with ample space to offer seminars covering Hexagon's most innovative metrology and manufacturing technologies including laser trackers, articulating arms, scanners, CMMs, software and automated solutions. The regional office resides at the state-of-the-art Hexagon Calgary Campus, which opened in September 2018. The spacious 160,000 sq. ft., Silver LEED-rated facility, also the area headquarters for other Hexagon divisions, is located at 1120 - 68th Avenue NE, Calgary, Alberta, Canada T2E 8S5.
Heading the regional office, Alberto Silva will serve as a sales engineer – West Canada, covering Manitoba through British Columbia. Silva's background includes the oil and gas industry and the manufacture of rotating machinery. He applies over 20 years of technical sales and consulting expertise to finding solutions for complex problems and making processes work better for the customer. Silva holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, as well as a Master of Business Administration degree in Marketing from SE Louisiana University.
