Marposs, a global leader in measurement, inspection and test technologies, has announced its new M62 Laser Profiler for Gear Inspection, using laser profile sensors and the optical triangulation principle. 

Marposs has announced MAINDO, its new digital platform that integrates Marposs monitoring, measuring, testing or other manufacturer device/solutions throughout the entire production process, combining quality and process into a holistic production monitoring view.

Here's a close look at some of the exhibits that will be of interest to gear manufacturers at the upcoming IMTS 2022 at McCormick Place, Chicago.

At IMTS 2022 in Booth #135621, Marposs will be demonstrating OptoCloud EDU (Electric Drive Unit), its latest generation of 3D precision inspection solutions designed for the electrical vehicle industry. Using multiple laser heads in tandem with contact sensors for measurement and vision inspection, OptoCloud EDU reconstructs the 3D model of complex and articulated workpieces in less than a minute to ensure accuracy of the produced component.  For example, it can validate 240 electrical contacts of a motor stator in only 30 seconds, which is 100 times faster than a traditional contact system.

Marposs has announced the acquisition of Jenoptik’s (Jena, Germany) non-optical process measuring technology business for grinding machines, formerly known as Movomatic.
